STREAM

STREAM is our acronym for “Short Term Response in Evangelism And Mission”. Every year, we take teams to work locally and with our partners overseas. We have regularly taken teams out to Spain and Portugal in the past years. There is a possibility that we may take a team to encourage our brothers and sisters in India too, and be encouraged in return.

If you are wondering what to do for a meaningful vacation, why not join us for one of these exciting projects? You will grow in your faith even as you practise sharing the gospel and discover a new culture. Each of the projects are different in scope and experience, do find out which would be most suited to you.

Teams:

1. Newport, South Wales 12th to 20th April 2008

            Following on from a week in Sept 07 when a team of 4 volunteers joined Dave for a week of training and evangelism at Malpas Road Church in Newport, Dave will be working with the Church again in April and is looking for volinteers to join him.  Malpas Road is a large conservative evangelical church with an active membership and two full time pastors. Dave first made contact with this church through speaking at the FIEC Conference in Pwllheli.

2. Portugal, 6 to 15 May 2008

We will be returning to Portugal again. In 2006 a team of 9 from all over the UK went to Fatima. We flew into Lisbon and drove there. Some have been to Fatima before while for others, it was their first time. We worked together with a team from some churches in Lisbon to witness to the people there. Thousands of pilgrims visit the shrine there each year. We had many conversations and most were very grateful to accept a John’s gospel from us. We carried with us gospels in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Please pray that people’s hearts will be changed as they read God’s word.
