Praying for us

Date: January 2008

• Praise for legacies and increase of giving by standing order which have helped stabilise finances

• Pray that increased income may make it possible to take on another worker during 2008

• Praise that during the visit of P.C. Alexander (Director of PTL India) to UK last autumn money was raised to provide a bus for the school in Sampurna Nagar

• Pray for PTL India pastors and evangelists, who are facing opposition and persecution, that they will be kept safe as they share the Gospel

• Pray that we will be able to produce the Gospel of Mark this year.  (This project has been held up waiting for copyright permission)

• Praise for many who give away gospels as part of their witness.  Please read their comments on the website

• Pray that Dave Bennett will be able, during the next couple of years, to revisit all the Churches with which he has had contact since joining Bridge Builders in 1983

• Praise for the faithfulness of God in allowing Dave to stay in fulltime Christian work since leaving Bible college in 1969

• Praise for the excellent working relationship we have with the Christian company Verité  who store and send out our gospels and introduction packs

• Pray for Chris & Cathy Powell who run Verité and for their staff as they work on printing and mailing projects for Bridge Builders

• Pray for increased openings to lead training courses on personal evangelism in Churches

• Praise the Lord that Bridge Builders has been able to continue to encourage Christians to share their faith one to one
