Praying for us

Date: February 2011

• Praise that 20,000 copies of ‘The story of Christmas’ were distributed.

• Pray for a similar response to our new publication ‘The story of Easter’ which will be available from mid February.

• Pray for the mailing out of a sample copy of ‘The story of Easter’ - to everyone on our mailing list and all the Churches which used the Christmas booklet - that it will challenge people to use the booklet in the weeks before Easter.

• Pray for our National Director – Dave Bennett – as he preaches in Churches and shares about the work of Bridge Builders.

• Bridge Builders is one of 100 Christian organisations which are to benefit from a legacy.  However, the assets of the estate involved is a house.  This house has been on the market for over six months.  Pray the house will soon be sold.

• Pray for continued financial provision.

• Praise that Bridge Builders has been able to continue for almost five years after the financial crisis that hit the organisation in 2006.

• Pray for Dave Bennett as he undertakes research for his doctorate with Mattersey Hall Graduate School and Bangor University.

• Praise that last month’s threatened violence again PTL India [our sister organisation] in northern India did not happen. We believe this was a direct result of Christian around the world praying about the situation.

• Pray that the PTL India Evangelists and their families will be kept safe as they reach out with the Gospel in areas where there are few if any Christians. PTL has 300 Evangelists working in India. They are all Indian nationals.
