I gave the first John's gospel to a school crossing attendant. I'd already had the opportunity to witness to him and pray for him and felt led to offer him the gospel to read. He happily accepted it. The second gospel was given to a lady who worked in the cafe of a local department store. She told me she was Roman Catholic and we had a really good conversation, after I asked her if she was born again. I was able to explain to her what this meant. I gave her a gospel to read.

Having received the two gospels I headed into London to meet up with friends for a posh meal. Having the gospels on my person prompted me to share the gospel during my taxi ride to the restaurant but the driver being a Catholic wasn’t overly interested. However on my return journey I shared with a young Muslim who was very open to the good news, he received one of the gospels and asked me to remember him in my prayers! The second man that I shared with was a Hindu and having spoken about the similarities in our faiths during our first encounter I returned to him having prayed and gave him a copy of the gospel of Luke which he agreed to read with the intention of talking about it at a later date. As a church we have been giving out gospels on the high street to those who have shown a particular interest in Jesus Christ.

while ordering coffee in a local pub a conversation started over banning of
mince pies! The young man serving talked
about theology and mythology. After
drinking my coffee and praying for him I returned to give him a John's gospel. hed he had been to Spring Harvest, I hope he
wil be encouraged to pass on the gospel to### to others.
I gave the Mark's gospel to a lady
collecting for children in need but
could only speak briefly but she

Spoke to an advertising executive on the train into London. She was from a Sikh background and was, "open to lots of ideas about truth." She took a John's Gospel happily. The other was to a friend.

I gave my first John's Gospel to a muslim man got chatting to, just after finishing an outreach with OAC. I felt led to speak to him and offer a photocopy of a testimony of a muslim who became a Christian after encountering Jesus in a vision, whilst dying in hospital(Nasir Siddiki). He accepted this and I felt prompted to then offer the gospel and showed him the tract at the back, explaining it revealed God's plan to bring people back into a relationship with Him. I was encouraged by the man's openness.
The second gospel was given to a man who asked me for directions to the nearest bus stop! He said he was a buddhist, but that he would read the gospel.

Got chatting to Simon in the pub about what lay behind the riots in the summer. We talked about the wickedness of the human heart. He came from a Catholic background, but wasn't practising. He was happy to take the John's gospel.
Was out walking with friends and we called in at "The Carpenter's Arms" for lunch. Spoke to Lloyd behind the bar about "The Carpenter" and gently explained that Jesus had died for him. He was happy to take the Mark's gospel.

I gave the 1st John's gospel to a man who was busking. I was led to offer the gospel, as he was stood in front of a sign advertising reading the bible! (I told him so). He said he had been just about to sing 'Knocking on Heaven's Door'!!! We had a good discussion. The Lord is clearly trying to get his attention.
The 2nd gospel was given to a young man who was working for a charitable organisation. After signing up to receive literature from the charity, I witnessed to him and he accepted the gospel. I even got chance to share my testimony & pray for him!!! He was very open. I pray both encounters bear fruit.

I gave the 1st John's Gospel to a man I keep bumping into sporadically. He told me he'd already ended up talking to a couple of Christians that day, so I told him the Lord was chasing him, like a parent searching for a child they had lost! The second Gospel was given to a bloke I'd asked directions from in Stockport. He said he was Roman Catholic and I told him that was great, as long as he was a born-again Roman Catholic! He didn't understand, so I explained how I have a good Catholic friend who was saved during the Charismatic Renewal and told him all about it, what it meant, etc. I told him he could read about being born again in the John's Gospel I'd offered to him and that it was explained again at the back, in the plan of salvation and prayer. He accepted the gospel and said he would have a look, so a seed was sown, praise God!

The first one I gave away to a parent from school, who had been going through a tough time (husband left her and her two sons...) - she had previously had "psychic healings" performed on her, but after I shared the gospel and prayed she remarked - "Wow! I've never felt such release and freedom!"...
The second one was given out following a great conversation with a stranger who stopped to help out with a "faith survey" I was doing on the street in our local village!

Gave one away to friend who is seeking...
The 2nd one I gave to a woman I met at my kid's swimming classes. She is a Roman Catholic, but does not attend church, nor can she find any peace. I tried to explain about who Jesus was, and suggested she read John's Gospel, about half a chapter per day, and pray to God to speak to her.

I received a free John's Gospel and a Mark's gospel. I gave the 1st to a lady I bumped into in the ladies loo in the local pub! It was a 'divine appointment', as we got chatting and I felt led to offer her the gospel, which she gladly accepted and I then gave her a big hug, which ministered just as much to me as it did her, I think!!!!
The 2nd gospel (Mark) was given to a bloke I met on the local tram station.

I gave my first gospel to a lady (J), who I met in Manchester during an outreach.
Another team member had seen her sitting on a bench and given her a tract. Some time after, she was still there, so I started chatting to her. I asked her if she had any faith. She told me that she had been brought up as a Catholic, but it wasn't really relevant to her now. When she told me that she was living with a Muslim man, I asked if I could tell her about some of the things that had happened to me. She allowed me to share my testimony, following which I offered her a copy of John's gospel. She was happy to take it with her.
The second gospel went to a lady (S) who I met in Hoylake. We both 'happened' to be near a display showing the times of the tides. She had a bike with her and asked if I knew how far it was from New Brighton to Hoylake. After looking on a map, I guessed 6-8 miles.(The distance she had just cycled.)
As it was a warm day and an ice cream van was near, I told her she deserved an ice cream, but she said she's given it up for Lent. This was my cue to ask if she was a Christian! Her answer was quite vague, that she'd been brought up as a Catholic and sometimes went to Mass.
She listened as I shared my testimony of salvation, during which I told her that I began wondering about eternity after my dad died of cancer, then later heard and responded to the gospel. We talked about the seriousness of needing to be prepared to meet God. I asked her if she read the Bible. Her reply was 'Not really.' I offered her the copy of John's gospel and she was very pleased to take it. Then she told me that her husband had died of cancer last year. (Of course, I had no idea.) She allowed me to pray for her.
